Avalon is one of the first foreign owned hotels in Bansko, run by an English Bulgarian family.  Avalon hotel is rated 2 star but is No 1 in Bansko as reviewed by our guests. Based in a quiet residential part of Bansko with some of the best views of Pirin. We are just a short walk from the heart of Bansko's old town and the start of the state of the art ski lift. Bansko is a great ski resort for beginner skiers as well as the super advanced extreme skier.

We have a minibus available to take our guest to and from the main Gondola station in the mornings and evening.

Throughout the summer The Hotel Avalon is looking for mountain bikers to stay for free and ride the Pirin. We are constantly making and repairing trails and we need your help! Avalon started The Road to Nowhere project trying to promote sustainable summer tourism in Bulgaria through mountain biking.
